EmpowHER Living Solutions exists to provide safe, stable, and dignified shared housing for women seeking consistency, structure, and a supportive living environment. Through thoughtfully furnished homes and clear household expectations, we create spaces where residents can focus on personal stability, growth, and rebuilding their lives.

While EmpowHER Living Solutions is not a treatment or service-based housing provider, we believe in the power of connection. Residents are encouraged to engage with community-based resources, employment opportunities, and supportive services of their choosing as they work toward independence and long-term housing stability.

Our vision is rooted in empowerment, accountability, and community—offering women a place to live with respect, safety, and the opportunity to move forward at their own pace.

EmpowHER was founded in response to the real challenges we see every day—access to stable housing, reliable transportation, financial stability, and the everyday life skills that support women as they rebuild and move forward.

Referral & Intake

Women are referred through community partners, shelters, or self-referral.

During intake, we learn about each woman’s goals, background, and support needs to ensure a strong foundation for success from day one.

Supportive & Dignified Housing

Each resident occupies her own furnished bedroom as part of a shared residential household, allowing for personal space while maintaining a cooperative living environment.

Our homes are well-maintained, orderly, and welcoming—designed to promote safety, stability, and everyday comfort in a place residents can truly call home.

Additional Supports & Community Linkage

EmpowHER Living Solutions is a residential housing provider focused on maintaining a stable and respectful living environment for women. While no clinical, therapeutic, or case management services are provided on-site, residents are encouraged to pursue personal goals that support their own stability and independence.

When requested, residents may be offered general information about community-based resources—such as employment supports, financial education opportunities, counseling providers, or other local organizations—allowing each woman to independently engage with services that best meet her needs.

EmpowHER Living Solutions does not provide treatment or individualized services and does not require participation in outside supports. All community engagement is voluntary and resident-driven.

Personal Empowerment & Self-Directed Growth

EmpowHER Living Solutions offers residential housing where women are encouraged to focus on personal reflection, growth, and forward planning at their own pace. Residents may independently engage in self-guided learning, faith-based activities, personal development materials, or community opportunities that support confidence, communication, and overall well-being.

EmpowHER Living Solutions does not provide life coaching, workshops, counseling, instruction, or therapeutic services. When requested, residents may be given general information about publicly available resources, faith communities, or educational tools they may choose to explore independently.

All personal development activities are voluntary, self-directed, and separate from residency.

Co-Founder, EmpowHER Living Solutions

Amber Kelly is a proud mother of five daughters and a woman who has transformed her pain into purpose. With a bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies (Sociology and Communications) and an associate's in criminal justice, she began her career in social services in 2012.

After losing her mother to lung cancer in 2019, Amber followed her heart into the mental health field, spending the past seven years supporting women experiencing homelessness. Her personal journey as a former single mother and her professional experience inspired her and her best friend to launch EmpowHER Living Solutions, a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping women heal, rebuild, and thrive through faith, community, and lasting support.

Jessica Turner is a proud mother of four whose life reflects faith, perseverance, and the power of second chances. Holding an associate’s degree in criminal justice, she began her career serving youth and families through the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center and Children Services. For the past eight years, she has worked in a shelter setting, where she saw firsthand the critical need for deeper support beyond housing, support that fosters healing, guidance, and lasting community.

Having overcome her own challenges as a single mother at 14, a high school dropout, and the daughter of a mother battling addiction, Jessica understands the struggles many women face. Through God’s grace, she rebuilt her life and found her calling in social work. Her journey led to the founding of EmpowHER Living Solutions, where she now helps women rediscover their faith, rebuild their lives, and believe in their ability to thrive, no matter their past.
