Referral & Intake

Women are referred through community partners, shelters, or self-referral.

During intake, we learn about each woman’s goals, background, and support needs to ensure a strong foundation for success from day one.

Supportive & Dignified Housing

Each resident has her own private, fully furnished bedroom within a shared home environment that promotes both independence and community.

Our homes are clean, structured, and nurturing — designed to foster safety, healing, and a true sense of belonging.

Additional Supports & Community Linkage

EmpowHER Living Solutions provides non-clinical supportive services that promote life stability, growth, and empowerment. Through life skills coaching, goal setting, financial literacy, and community resource connections, residents gain the tools to rebuild and thrive.

When additional support is needed, women are connected to trusted partner agencies for case management, therapy, or mental health services—ensuring individualized care for every resident.

Life Coaching & Empowerment Programs

Residents can participate in personal development workshops and one-on-one life coaching focused on confidence, communication, faith, and healing.

These sessions help women rediscover their strengths, rebuild their self-worth, and develop the skills to maintain independence and peace in their lives.

EmpowHER Living Solutions is not just a housing program — it’s a community.
Residents are encouraged to grow at their own pace, with continued access to mentorship, peer support, and alumni involvement.

EmpowHER Living Solutions strengthens the community by addressing the ongoing challenges of homelessness, housing instability, and lack of supportive environments where women can truly rebuild their lives.

Residents can participate in personal development workshops and one-on-one life coaching focused on confidence, communication, faith, and healing. These sessions help women rediscover their strengths, rebuild their self-worth, and develop the skills to maintain independence and peace in their lives.

While some residents use EmpowHER Living Solutions as a stepping stone toward permanent housing, others may remain long-term. Each woman’s journey is unique; some may eventually transition into income-based housing, assisted living, or nursing care, while others may choose to stay in an EmpowHER home indefinitely.

Co-Founder, EmpowHER Living Solutions

Amber Kelly is a proud mother of five daughters and a woman who has transformed her pain into purpose. With a bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies (Sociology and Communications) and an associate's in criminal justice, she began her career in social services in 2012.

After losing her mother to lung cancer in 2019, Amber followed her heart into the mental health field, spending the past seven years supporting women experiencing homelessness. Her personal journey as a former single mother and her professional experience inspired her and her best friend to launch EmpowHER Living Solutions, a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping women heal, rebuild, and thrive through faith, community, and lasting support.

Jessica Turner is a proud mother of four whose life reflects faith, perseverance, and the power of second chances. Holding an associate’s degree in criminal justice, she began her career serving youth and families through the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center and Children Services. For the past eight years, she has worked in a shelter setting, where she saw firsthand the critical need for deeper support beyond housing, support that fosters healing, guidance, and lasting community.

Having overcome her own challenges as a single mother at 14, a high school dropout, and the daughter of a mother battling addiction, Jessica understands the struggles many women face. Through God’s grace, she rebuilt her life and found her calling in social work. Her journey led to the founding of EmpowHER Living Solutions, where she now helps women rediscover their faith, rebuild their lives, and believe in their ability to thrive, no matter their past.
